With an aim of better introducing the natural and healthly characteristics of Alaska seafood to local consumers, ASMI and the Shenyang Marriott Hotel, jointly hosted an “Alaska Seafood Festival” in April 2006.

During the promotion, Alaska sockeye salmon, snow crab, black cod and halibut were highlighted through a specially created menu. Large banners with distinctive pictures of Alaska seafood and large ASMI logos were produced and used to decorate the venue. In order to further expose Alaska seafood and attract more guests to enjoy Alaska seafood, an advertisement was placed in a local newspaper.
