After ASMI’s cooperation with JUSCO Guangdong with the Alaska Seafood Festival, ATO Guangzhou launched a Great American Food Festival in 12 outlets of JUSCO hypermarkets in Southern China. The promotion took place from June 23 to July 10 of this year and included four outlets in Shenzhen, two in Guangzhou, and one in Zhongshan, Zhuhai, Foshan, Dongguan and Shunde. Economically these cities are ranked among the top cities in China. People in these locations, on average, have stronger purchasing power. It was considered an excellent opportunity to promote Alaska seafood to thousands of consumers in Southern China. Alaska king crab, snow crab, black cod, sockeye and Pollock products were featured in the promotion. The demonstration personnel were arranged at four outlets in Shenzhen and two outlets in Guangzhou, to introduce the products to consumers. ASMI also provided POS materials like buntings, posters and table tents at all stores. Alaska seafood recipe cookbooks were also be distributed to consumers during the promotion.
