ASMI cooperated with SCA and GWFA held hands-on chef seminar

On March 28 and 30, 2007, the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute cooperated with Shanghai Cuisine Association and Guangzhou Western Food Association to hold hands-on chef seminars at Shanghai Zhonghua School and Guangzhou Hua Mei Bakery School respectively. The seminars invited local high-end hotel chefs and guests from the associations. The famous chef Alan from Alaska demonstrated several dishes of Alaska Seafood like Alaska King Crab, Alaska Snow Crab and Black Cod. In the afternoon chefs were given the opportunity to try their own hand at creating dishes using Alaska seafood.? Mr. Wayne Batwin from Shanghai ATO and Ms. Tracy Huang from ATO Guangzhou also came to the activity. They tried all the dishes and praised the abilities of all chefs to use high-end Alaska seafood. Finally, Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute awarded every chef with an honor certificate.
