On July 2nd 2012, a chef seminar including 50 chefs was held at Qingdao Intercontinental Hotel. ATO Beijing organized the chef seminar for the purpose of promoting the usage of American food ingredients in Chinese dishes. The executive chef from the Great Hall of the People was invited as the guest chef at the seminar. Alaska Pacific cod was the feature product at the seminar. The guest chef gave the participating chefs a detailed introduction on how to defrost, store and cook Alaska seafood through a live cooking demonstration. After the cooking demonstration, Alaska Pacific cod was tasted by participating chefs during lunchtime.
